As a dedicated and proactive Data Engineer, I bring a unique blend of skills from my career switch, combining hands-on experience in system and database maintenance with a strong background in crisis management. My technical proficiency spans JavaScript, Python, React, Vite, Jest, and Pytest, all honed through comprehensive training at La Fosse Academy and professional experience on a variety of projects. My ability to swiftly learn and adapt, complemented by excellent problem-solving and communication skills developed from working with children, enables me to thrive in collaborative and dynamic environments. Passionate about promoting diversity in tech, I founded a community for women in tech, underscoring my commitment to supporting and empowering women in the industry.In 2020 I graduated from an undergraduate psychology course in London South Bank University, with experience working with children and a passion to help young children in their development. My degree involved conducting an empirical project which was a big passion of mine during my last year of university. The mixed-methods study I ran looked at whether mindfulness affected the emotional-behavioural management of pre-schoolers and the experience of parents during this time. Running my own small business alongside university helped improve my customer service skills and my organisational skills. My online shop has allowed me to learn in practice how to resolve disputes and communicate effectively online alongside practical skills such as learning how to balance the books.I am able to communicate in multiple languages at a simple conversational level; Mandarin, Korean and French, and I am currently progressing with British Sign Language.
