About Anastasia Andrianopoulos

I am a junior majoring in Accounting in the Quinlan Business Honors Program at Loyola University. I will graduate in May 2027, and plan to sit for the CPA Exam right upon graduation. I have taken classes in Accounting, Business Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Management, Marketing, and Business Statistics. I am eager to learn more, as I am just beginning my journey, and would love the opportunity to engage in a real-world work environment. I grew up working in the restaurant industry and have experience as a waitress and host. During this work, I refined my multitasking, organizational, and interpersonal skills. I recently worked as an intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Chicago in the Assurance and Wealth Management sector. I was fortunate to learn from those more experienced than I, while grasping real knowledge about the accounting world. I am an extrovert and work well with others, but can also handle my own. I strive to get work done in a timely manner, but also to my best ability. Something unique about me is that I the oldest of four and travel to Greece frequently! I am eager to apply my knowledge of accounting from the classroom to the real world and grow on this journey.

Experience

  1. Audit Intern

    PwC

Jan 2026 — Present · Chicago, IL, US

As a Winter Audit Intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers, I supported my audit team during peak busy season by assisting with financial statement audits, internal controls, and EGAs. I was available to assist senior associates in there tasks, preparing roll forwards and lead schedules. As an intern, I had the ability to gain hands-on experience testing internal controls, performing substantive audit procedures, and analyzing financial data in accordance with U.S. GAAP. I worked on two teams, public and non-public, gaining different insights and experience on different clients. The role involves collaborating with associates and seniors, using PwC audit software and data analytics tools, and developing an understanding of risk assessment, compliance, and professional auditing standards. The internship emphasizes professional development, teamwork, and exposure to real-world client engagements in a fast-paced public accounting environment.
