ABOUT ANASTASIA ANNA PIKE

I am a harpist, educator, and arts executive dedicated to elevating the transformative power of music through performance, scholarship, and service. My work reflects a belief that music is not only an art form, but a means of connection, education, and healing.As Executive Director of a long-standing arts organization, I oversee programs that nurture emerging artists, expand access to quality music education, and foster community through the arts. In this role, I combine vision with practical leadership - building partnerships, sustaining legacy programs, and guiding new initiatives that promote creative growth.As a performer, I have appeared in diverse settings ranging from the Carnegie Hall to the White House. I have also had the privilege of collaborating with medical professionals at the Center for Prostate Disease Research at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, exploring the profound connections between music and medicine, in the diagnostic, post-operative, active treatment, and recovery phases.With a doctorate from Columbia University, I bring a unique approach to teaching, mentoring, and arts leadership. My teaching philosophy emphasizes technical mastery balanced with expressive authenticity, empowering students to find their individual voices while cultivating discipline and artistry.Across all aspects of my career, my goal remains constant: to advance excellence, access, and empathy through music - whether on stage, in the classroom, or in the community.
