About Ana Luisa S. O. Mendes
Originally from Brazil, I’ve had the opportunity to live and work across several countries, including Canada, Bolivia, and now the United States, an experience that has shaped my perspective as a storyteller.Currently, I work as a full-time Content Creator at The York JCC and freelance in the Sports Live Production field with Van Wagner Productions. Prior to this, I worked with the International Paralympic Committee, producing and editing social video content as part of their Milano-Cortina 2026 campaign.My production background spans over a decade and includes a wide variety of formats. From live event coverage and on-air promos to documentaries, branded content, and short-form social videos for public figures and organizations. I’ve held roles such as Producer, Creative Project Lead, Video Editor, Designer, Director, Camera Operator, Venue Producer, and Creative Department Coordinator, often working bilingually or trilingual in fast-paced, international environments like the Rio 2016 Olympics and Pan American Games.In 2009, I earned a full athletic scholarship to study in the U.S, graduating with high honors in Communications and Media Production from Concordia College – New York in 2013. I later completed an intensive 3D Animation program at the New York Film Academy, further expanding my creative and technical skill set.
