About Ana Sofia Waldburger

I am an Experience Industry Management student with a passion for helping people and planning memorable experiences. I love planning events piece by piece and seeing every component come together to move attendees, expand mindsets and connect people. I have had the opportunity to shadow event planners of numerous scopes and currently am most interested in Event Production, Experiential Marketing and Social Media Marketing. I hope to further develop my skills and learn about the industry through these areas before I graduate next spring. I hope to work in experiential marketing or a non-profit organization. In my coursework I have had the opportunity to design user-focused experiences and learn about the extensive aspects of the experience industry from risk management to leadership and finance. My minor in integrated marketing and communications has given me the chance to do market research from developing research questions to conducting research and presenting my findings to clients. I have learned about public relations and completed PR plans and press kits for companies I one day aspire to work for.
