ABOUT ANASA SCOTT-LAUDE

I help mission-driven organizations and universities build capacity across fund development and program design—supporting teams as they move from strategy to implementation with greater clarity and steadiness. My work draws on experience in nonprofit management and higher-education program leadership, with AI used thoughtfully where it reduces burden and supports good judgment.Over the past decade, I’ve worked with nonprofits and public-sector organizations across New York City, the Caribbean, and East Africa, supporting education, sustainability, and economic development initiatives. Through my consultancy, ILE Strategies, I’ve partnered with organizations to strengthen planning, coordination, and internal systems, and to secure funding aligned with mission and long-term impact.Previously, I served as Director of the Colin Powell Fellowship for Civic and Global Leadership at The City College of New York and as inaugural faculty in Parsons School of Design’s graduate Strategic Design and Management program, where I co-authored and taught a project-based curriculum focused on applying design principles to social and environmental challenges.Across these roles, my focus has been on building internal capacity—helping organizations navigate change without losing purpose or trust. I’m the author of AI with Purpose, a practical guide for organizations integrating AI responsibly, grounded in mission, cultural context, and care.
