ABOUT ANANYA SEN
I am passionate about science writing and communication. I have previously worked at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology, the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology, and the Illinois News Bureau. In all those roles I interviewed scientists and wrote press releases that summarized the latest research at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I worked in the Imlay lab where I studied proteins that are induced in response to hydrogen peroxide stress. To do so, I used a combination of genetic and biochemical approaches.
