ABOUT ANANYA S.
I’m a psychology student interested in how mental health, justice systems, and accessibility shape people’s lives.Over the past couple of years, I’ve worked across counselling spaces, disability inclusion projects, rural communities, and survivor-support programs to understand these intersections more deeply. My experience includes conducting case histories and MSEs, supporting psychologists during crisis-intervention fieldwork in Madhya Pradesh, leading accessibility initiatives at LSR, and facilitating year-long peer programs for young women. I’ve also designed community projects around identity, grief, and belongingness for young people, rooted in lived experience.Across all these roles, I’ve been drawn to work that is hands-on, people-centred, and connected to the systems that shape access and dignity. I care about building environments where students, survivors, and marginalised communities feel supported and seen not as an abstract goal, but as a practical responsibility.I’m particularly interested in:forensic & community psychologytrauma-informed workdisability inclusionbehavioural insightsyouth mental healthaccessible systems designIf you’re working in these areas or open to collaboration, I’d love to connect and learn from you.
