ABOUT ANANYA MEHROTRA

I’m Ananya Mehrotra, a communication designer with a curious mind and a strong belief in the power of thoughtful, intentional design. Raised in Bangalore and shaped by a science background, I’ve always looked for the intersection between logic and creativity. What started with a love for handwriting and calligraphy eventually evolved into a deeper passion for typography, branding, and visual storytelling. I see design as a way of thinking and feeling, a process rooted in empathy, observation, and research. My strengths lie in graphic design, branding, and increasingly, digital design. Whether I’m building a brand identity or structuring a visual system, I enjoy creating work that’s minimal, clear, culturally aware, and emotionally resonant. My experience working at a design agency taught me the value of process, collaboration, and adaptability. I’ve worked across branding and digital projects and understand how to balance creativity with client needs and timelines. I’m confident using tools like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Blender, and I enjoy shifting between flat and dimensional design thinking. Currently, I’m looking to work with creative studios where I can contribute to multidisciplinary projects, collaborate with dynamic teams, and keep learning through real-world challenges. I’m especially drawn to work that evokes a sense of comfort, curiosity, or connection, and believe good design doesn’t just look good, it feels right.
