One Health Trust (formerly the Center for Disease Dynamics, Economics & Policy) is a global organization that conducts research and engages stakeholders to improve the health and well-being of people, animals, and the environment. I synthesize data on infectious disease burden, antimicrobial resistance (AMR), and the role of vaccines in mitigating AMR for the Global Antibiotic Resistance Partnership (GARP) in India. I also compile and analyze information on lower- and middle-income countries’ National Action Plans on AMR to help refine policy briefs for the World Health Organization (WHO), collaborating with senior research analysts and research fellows to provide data-driven recommendations that align with both national and global health priorities.

ABOUT ANANYA KRISHNAN
I am a rising senior at Vassar College pursuing a degree in Neuroscience and Behavior on a Pre-Dental track, with a strong interest in patient-centered care and health equity. As a member of the Vassar Women’s Tennis Team, I’ve developed discipline, resilience, and strong time management skills that translate into all aspects of my academic and professional life. This summer, I have had the opportunity to contribute to global health policy initiatives as a research intern at One Health Trust, while also working as a barista at Di Bruno Bros Café and coaching tennis in the greater Philadelphia area. These experiences have strengthened my communication, leadership, and organizational abilities, reinforcing my commitment to serving others in both clinical and community settings.
