About Ananya Chaurey

I am a Senior Associate with RMI\'s India Program, where I work on strategic initiatives aimed at accelerating India\'s energy transition. With over seven years of experience in the power sector, I bring deep expertise in electricity markets, power system modelling, renewable energy and storage, and distributed energy resources (DERs). My current work focusses on demand flexibility, rooftop solar and energy storage, and power sector analysis.Prior to RMI, I spent six years at ICF, where I most recently served as Manager - Energy Markets in the firm\'s energy advisory practice. In this role, I conducted power market assessments and asset valuations for an array of power generation technologies, including offshore wind, battery storage, and DERs.I hold a bachelor\'s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, and a master\'s degree in energy and environmental management from Duke University. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling and staying active.
