It is a capital mistake to theorize before one has data.” Sherlock HolmesThe word from Arthur Conan Doyle has always inspired me as I graduated in Computer Science and Technology from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology Shibpur in 2017. Since then my interest has piqued in managing and nurturing data as I joined ZS Associates after completing my bachelor’s degree from one of the prestigious institutions of India.Working in ZS as a Business Technology Analyst enriched my knowledge in data and associated technologies. With a penchant for learning new things, I have come across a myriad of platforms working on various projects. I have been a technical lead and independently led client meetings. I believed myself to have only working knowledge of data management. To hone my skills and seek deeper knowledge I opted for pursuing a master’s degree in Computer Science. Currently, a sophomore master’s student at Texas A&M University I am acquainted with advanced-level coursework. My research on Machine Learning in Systems and Technology for Medicine and IoT (STMI) lab and appointment as Graduate Assistant Teaching (GAT) for the past two semesters has led to my personal and professional development. Currently, in my penultimate semester, I look forward to full-time positions as a data scientist.
