About Ananth Saran Yalamarthy
I lead the datacenter team at Frore Systems. Before my current role, I lead the MEMS device characterization team for the AirJet device at Frore Systems. I received my PhD in 2019 from Stanford University working at the interface of MEMS + device physics + thermal engineering. My primary passion is physics, but with an application towards technology that can impact society. My coursework drew from a very wide array of departments: ME, EE, CS, MatSci and Physics.I have authored or co-authored 15+ journal publications (~700 citations) and 20 US patents (5 granted) in the areas of MEMS, heat transfer, device physics, sensors and data center thermal design. Core areas of expertise- Datacenter cooling (high performance coldplate design)- Nano and micro-scale heat transfer - MEMS actuator design- Semiconductor physics and fabrication - Microfluidics and fluid-structure interaction - Finite Element Analysis - Fabrication and Process Development - Acoustic simulations and testing Instrumentation- Custom test hardware and test software development - High Volume Test Automation - High Power & Low Power Test Hardware - Knowledge of all major test interfaces and software- Basic circuit design (oscillators, switches, power circuitry), SPICE and layout General- Experience with manufacturing test platform deployment- Experience with Python, C++ and SQL for development of test hardware, software and databases- Manufacturing Deployments and Integrations with ERPs (Principally, NetSuite)- Custom Built-MES systems for production shopfloor control - Database visualization tool development for tracking KPIs and yield, using Azure, Power BI and Tableau- Rapid prototyping and mechatronics experience (sensors, software and hardware)- Basic ML/AI experience applied to detecting good/bad parts in high volume automation lines Cross-disciplinary experiences working with EE, Test, Manufacturing, Fabrication/Process, Reliability, Firmware, Hardware and Software teams.
