Working on Cairn (Vedanta), on integrated project to drill ERD/directional wells in Cambay offshore and Raageswari field- Responsible for implementation of safety policies of company, H2S hazard awareness, conducting safety drills, educate crew and enhance safety awareness. Implement the PTW policy of company- Duties involved preparation of operations programs “Daily standing instructions” and supervise the implementation, execution, technical supervision of drilling operations, logistic management and reporting in compliance with HSE policies and procedures- Responsibilities also includes preparing Operational alerts, Performance review, Lessons learnt- Raise material request & ensure adequate equipment and inventory available well in advance- Supervise personally critical operations such as, casing, cementing, liner cementing, completion, etc- Ensured contractor maintains the rig & equipment adequately to maximize efficiency and minimize down time and also properly utilization of materials and equipment- Interacted with rig crew, motivating the crews & imparting training to crew for improving safety & better work practices.
