ML Engineering Leader with track record of driving concrete business impact using techniques from machine learning and optimization theory.Currently, I lead the Data Science team at Box. Applying ML across many business areas:(1) customer churn prediction,(2) automated consumer outreach for sales,(3) targeted product feature recommendations, and many more.Prior to this, I was a Senior Modeling Scientist building new features for and improving the performance of Quantcast\'s Advertising product. Solved core ad targeting problems: consumer identification, ad delivery optimization, and automated campaign operation. Routinely presented directly to clients on the value of ML-powered ad targeting. I earned my PhD from UC Berkeley where I worked on facilitating renewable energy integration. My research focused on developing control and optimization approaches to address the inherent variability in renewable generation.
