Also, architected and delivered Cisco’s IR809 and IR829 ruggedized routers for Smart Grid and Transportation verticals with Gigabit Ethernet (GE), 4G/LTE, 802.11n WiFi and RS232/RS485 interfaces. Led the architecture team for the award-winning next generation IR platforms - IR8140 (next gen CGR1240), IR1800 (next gen IR829), IR1101 (next gen CGR1120) and ESR6300 (next gen C5915).Technical: High speed board design, x86/ARM64/ARM32/PowerPC/MIPS CPUs, FPGAs (Xilinx/Altera), EDA tools (Mentor, Cadence), Networking (T1/E1, T3/E3, xDSL, Ethernet, USB2.0/3.0, 3G/4G/LTE/5G, LoRa, 800/900MHz ISM, WiFi, WiMax, serial standards – RS232/422/485, X.21, V.35, HSSI, Cisco 12-in-1) and defined hardware development processes for the IOTBU and Access Routing Technology Group (ARTG).
