I am a passionate and proactive Data Scientist with more than seven years of industry experience, which aims to add value by developing data science solutions with machine learning and quantitative analysis methods and techniques. I bring over ten years of academic and industry experience. I have a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, specializing in machine learning in cybersecurity. Also, with more than 2 years of experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and trained models for textual problems. I enjoy developing solutions and solving complex problems to achieve impactful results. I am known for building genuine relationships, persevering under pressure, and managing my time effectively. I am currently developing machine learning, LLM, and Generative AI-based solutions for various products. I have a wide range of experience in multidisciplinary environments, including text classification, resource matching, unsupervised text analysis, sentiment analysis, social media post analysis/classification, patient mortality prediction, cause of death detection, customer segmentation, Natural Language Processing (NLP), image processing, automated data labeling, malware detection, game-based models, and cyber-attack detection and attribution. So I can work on different problems and apply various techniques. I enjoy meeting people and working with them in a team environment. I thrive in technically challenging environments that enable my technical and people skills. I see myself as a passionate data scientist who enjoys facing challenges and finding novel solutions to help the team develop exceptional models.
