About Ana Gutierrez Parra
Hi everyone! My name is Ana Gutierrez, and I am a senior studying Biomedical Engineering with a minor in Engineering Innovation at the University of Florida. I have always had a profound interest in the healthcare and medical device industry, and I am intrigued by medical innovation as our technology advances to create wider opportunities to improve patient outcomes. I have taken courses in MATLAB, problem solved with Arduino, and earned a certification in SOLIDWORKS to prepare for roles in Manufacturing, Test Engineering, or Systems Engineering. Outside of my classes, I am involved in organizations such as the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Dream Team Engineering, and Extreme Dance Company to help me grow professionally, technically, and personally. I am passionate about making accessible products and highlighting the representation of women and Hispanics in STEM and leadership positions.
