ABOUT ANAMARIA ABNUSY
I am a Legal Studies and Middle Eastern Languages & Cultures student at UC Berkeley, deeply committed to pursuing a career in law with interests in property law, estate planning law, and immigrant advocacy. My academic journey, combined with hands-on leadership and legal experience, has shaped both my skills and passion for advancing equity through the legal field.At Berkeley, I was elected an ASUC Senator, where I championed initiatives for first-generation and immigrant student support, professional development programs, and cross-cultural collaboration. I also serve as a Head Chair for Berkeley Model United Nations, where I’ve led committees exploring international law and human rights, and as Professional Development Chair for the Middle Eastern Business Association, mentoring students on career pathways.Across these roles and more, I’ve developed strong skills in legal research, policy analysis, public speaking, and cross-cultural leadership. These experiences continue to reinforce my goal of pursuing law school and ultimately building a career that bridges community needs with legal solutions.
