ABOUT ANAM KHAN
I work in HR with a focus on employee relations, policy guidance, and supporting consistent, well-informed people decisions at scale. In my current role, I support a workforce of over 1,100 employees, partnering with managers and employees to navigate workplace concerns, interpret policies, and provide practical guidance. I manage a high volume of employee cases, ensuring each situation is handled with sound judgment, clear documentation, and a balanced approach that considers both policy and business context. Managers regularly come to me for guidance on employee issues. I am known for being calm, reliable, and someone who brings clarity to complex or sensitive situations while consistently following through. Previously, at Amazon, I worked in an environment supporting over employees and led a team of 42 HR team members. I contributed to building new processes and creating guidance documents and policies that improved consistency and understanding across teams. My experience spans the employee lifecycle, and I work closely with cross-functional teams to support smooth HR operations. I am particularly interested in how AI can support HR in working more efficiently and making better decisions. I see it as a tool that enhances human judgment rather than replaces it, especially in areas where empathy and context matter. I am now focused on growing into a more strategic HR role where I can support leaders more directly and contribute to broader people decisions as an HR Business Partner or HR consultant. Outside of work, I enjoy staying active through workouts and maintaining a routine that helps me stay focused and balanced.
