About Anam Muhammad

I am Anam, a biomedical engineering graduate from Georgia Tech with a minor in Robotics! I am very passionate about engineering applications that address medical challenges to enhance the quality of life. I enjoy working in roles that leverage my interest and skills in medical/surgical robotics, medical devices, and clinical applications. My experience lies in R&D product engineering and analysis of medical devices, mainly in the cardiovascular space. For my BME Capstone project, I designed an endovascular device with a team of 5 to perform minimally invasive aortic root repair, and our project won Best Biomedical Engineering Project! Our team currently has a patent pending for our design, and we are accompanied by our sponsor, Dr. Bradley Leshnower, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Emory.Additionally, I self-published a book titled,\"Engineering for Beginners: For a Student, By a Student\", marking my first book as an author. I wrote it during my second year of university back in 2023 to provide a brief history of engineering, skills for its disciplines, and tips from the perspective of a student. I take pride in hobbies and sports that allow me to connect with my other passions and take a break from the hustle of life.
