About Analee Donaldson

I am a second year Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student with a minor in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I chose to pursue this minor to complement my technical education with a deeper understanding of sustainability, clean energy, and the environmental systems impacted by chemical processes. Within chemical engineering, I am particularly interested in roles that emphasize sustainability, efficiency, and real world impact.My academic and professional interests span several industries, including oil and gas as well as paper and pulp, while remaining open to gaining a broader perspective on chemical engineering as a whole. I am motivated by opportunities that challenge me to think critically about process optimization, resource management, and long term environmental responsibility. At Georgia Tech, I am involved in organizations that have strengthened my leadership and professional development. I am a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, Georgia Tech Tour Guides, and Greek life. As a tour guide, I learned how to represent an institution larger than myself by communicating its values, culture, and academic rigor with confidence and authenticity. I also serve on the Executive Board of the Alpha Phi Iota Mu Chapter as the Vice President of New Member Education and Member Experience, where I lead onboarding activities, foster inclusive community building, and support member growth. I have been working since the age of 16 in roles that required responsibility, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills. My experience includes working as a lifeguard for the City of Alpharetta, a zip line tour guide at Screaming Eagle Aerial Adventures, and a private tutor for families in the Roswell, Alpharetta, and Milton areas. Through these roles I have developed skills that translate directly to professional environments including clear communication under pressure, accountability, reliability, leadership, and problem solving. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy staying connected with my friends and the Georgia Tech campus through intramural sports, creative outlets like art and music, and campus events. I am a dedicated Georgia Tech fan and enjoy attending athletic events, especially football, basketball, and softball games. At Georgia Tech football games, you will often find me in the front row of the student section, occasionally making an appearance on the jumbotron.

   Alpha Phi International Fraternity

   As Vice President of New Member Education and Member Experience I oversee programming that supports member development, engagement, and retention across the chapter. I lead the education and onboarding of new members while supervising directors responsible for sisterhood events, Greek Week and Homecoming, Big/Little pairing, parent and alumni relations, and intramural athletics. I provide guidance, accountability, and strategic direction to ensure each initiative aligns with chapter values and annual goals. Additionally, I manage the departmental budget, coordinate cross-functionally with other Executive Board members, and serve as a liaison between the chapter and our international advisors.
