   Spearheaded real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives for US & global markets – consulting on real-world data (RWD) acquisitions & partnerships with 15 / 20 top pharma companies to align data strategy with business goals, while integrating emerging RWD sources and tools to design cutting-edge RWE studies • Launched Aetion’s oncology data offerings and center of excellence for research, bringing in new pharma clients through expanded platform analytical capabilities and data resource access • Directed research initiatives on novel RWD study designs (real-world control arms, hybrid controls), prospective evidence generation (de novo genomics), and enhancing the rigor and applicability of real-world endpoints • Guided company-wide RWD decisions by evaluating data performance, drafting drug development data strategy plans, improving data quality and infrastructure, detecting anomalies, contributing to data mapping and synthetic data tools, and providing internal expertise on RWD interpretation and limitations • Managed a team of 4 data scientists and ~$9MM-worth of contracts to expand RWD reach and quality by leveraging novel techniques including AI, deep learning, complex data linkages, and simulated data • Represented Aetion in high-profile collaborations, including Duke Margolis’ RWE Collaborative, to address RWD gaps and accelerate regulatory acceptance, shaping industry standards for data relevance, reliability, and quality Acquired by Datavant in May 2025.
