Fun Under the Sun started with the love idea to be a full time mum and a restless mind to do something more! It was during the summer holidays and finding nothing constructive for my then 2+year old I got few kids from around the neighbourhood and started our first Summer workshop. this was followed by Dussehra, Christmas and yet another Summer camp! Still enjoying every summer conducting Summer camps and I truly enjoy it!

Looking to make a difference in your child’s life? Here is just the way …The Green Pocket! Located in the heart of Bangalore city is a ‘Pocket’ of ‘Green’ where your child will enjoy childhood the way we did!\"Fun Under the Sun\" started in 2008 when two friends encouraged me to start a camp to keep our kids busy and productive in their holidays! The following year (August 2009),inspired with my one and half year old daughter whose keen interest was to learn, I started the \"Baby Nest \" program- a play group. Using an open space filled with trees and greenery \" The Green Pocket\" was born! We are proud to say not a tree was cut! We kept the place as rustic and nature friendly. Soon thru word of mouth and Facebook parents got to know about us! The ideas and inspiration for activities came through my Degree and years of experience, one year in a day care in Switzerland, 6 years as a Kindergarten teacher in Bishop Cotton Boys\' School and a year in Neev. We added our Preschool and Nursery program in the following years. In 2017, we started a library for children called \"Our Story Shelf\" to rekindle in kids the joy of reading books. We have books for kids 1year to pre-teens. Check out our fb page for further details. In 2021 as the worldwide ( Covid) lockdown was lifted we introduced a Baby Nest Junior Program for Parent and Child. The idea was for Parents with their 8month to 2year olds to spend time and do meaningful and experiential activities with us. It was well received and we have added added it to our school program. We have touched the heart, soul and life of many babies, toddlers and children till date. Our wonderful team of dedicated staff follow the ideas, methodology and goals crafted out by us in making our \" Baby Nest Program\",\"Nursery\" special and unique for our babies. We constructed a home like atmosphere where we started a Daycare too for kids till 6pm. That closed in 2020. Someday we may reopen that but for now we have lots on our plate. We also organise Birthday parties and special events over weekends at \'The Green Pocket\' Our holidays camps \"Fun Under the Sun\" which was the first idea of The Green Pocket is a bit hit with children in their summer holidays till date.
