I am a passionate Sr Network Development Engineer, 7+ yrs in AWS with expertise in network operations, network automation and optimizing complex network architectures. My time in AWS networking has exposed me to one of the biggest global networks. The high performance and availability requirements to support the AWS cloud has helped me develop the technical skills needed to build, deploy and operate and automate large scale networks. Over the years, I have set a decent track record of leading high-impact, cross-functional projects that focus on improving network performance, availability and enhancing network resiliency. In these past years, I have enjoyed collaborating with cross-functional teams and learning from highly skilled engineers across AWS. I am looking to carry this valuable technical and interpersonal skill-set I have gained from my current experience to support the visionary tech of the future.

   I have been a part of the Data Center Networking Org for 7+ years. Within the Org, I have worked in different teams that focused on Design, Build, Operations and Automation for datacenter core and edge netwoks. I have actively handled, mitigated and remediated several networking related large-scale events as a primary and as an escalation on-call.• Currently working on deploy, build, operation and automation for the hardware firewalls.• A Qualified reviewer for various network config and automation repositories• Supporting AWS virtual network firewalls and working with various AWS customers to design a unique AWS virtual Network Firewall based solutions for their specific requirements and help them migrate off the hardware SRX based firewalls due to availability and performance constraints. • Actively contribute to the OP planning for the hardware firewall fabrics by aligning the vision with other virtual firewall and AWS customer initiatives.• Working with various customer teams to understand and prioritize networking deliverables, work on designing network and process changes and help delivering through the team.• Other responsibilities include driving and guiding a team of NDE-I and NDE-IIs for automating day-to-day operational tasks, serve as point of escalation for the Org during LSEs, mentoring, training and onboarding engineers and conduct game-day/tests for engineers to set them up for successful oncall-rotations, reviewing network changes.
