Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory Practice with over 12 years’ credit risk, programme delivery, regulatory engagement and industry best practice experience across the financial sector. Before moving to the UK, I was previously a member of the Spanish Deloitte practice.Key recent experience- UK D-SIB: part of a multi-year IRB repair programme, leading the regulatory engagement workstream. This programme was set up to meet the new IRB requirements, as well as address feedback stemming from the ECB’s onsite inspection in this area. This included the submission of applications to revert to standardised approach for specific portfolios. Managed all regulatory communications with and submissions to the regulators in scope of the programme, primarily PRA, ECB & DNB. As part of the ECB inspection, worked with key stakeholders to develop return to compliance plans, as well as responses (both the artefacts and regulatory applications / correspondence) to each of the actions resulting from the ECB inspection. Also supported the development of discussion / status update materials for the regulators in scope of the programme.
