Faculty @Parsons School Of Design - The New School
New York, NY, US
Teaches two courses. The first is a thesis course in the Design and Urban Ecologies (MS) to help graduate students shape research and projects at the cross-section of urban ecology, urban studies, and social advocacy. The second, Urban Colloquium I, is designed to serve as an entry point into what urban practice is and to the dynamic and intersecting environmental, economic, and social issues at play in the work. The class takes a wide lens on the “wicked problems” faced by cities today, especially in New York City. It will especially showcase alternative urban practices drawing on the perspective on urbanism and urban planning from a non-planner lens.
