ABOUT ANA CLARA BLESSO

Highly organized and strategic thinker, I am a passionate and collaborative professional with a successful track record in program and change management, relationship development, and data analysis. As Director of Graduate Career & Professional Development at the UConn School of Business, I lead and empower a team of career coaches, supporting the professional development journey of graduate students. I take pride in designing engaging and innovative materials and programs to provide direct support to program alumni and current students, ensuring a comprehensive approach to recruitment and strategy. My expertise in relationship management best practices allows me to foster strong partnerships with corporate sponsors and contribute to departmental branding efforts. Moreover, I am committed to thoughtful community-building and inclusive engagement, creating structures for peer support and alumni engagement that promote a dynamic and supportive learning environment. With a diverse lived experience and knowledge of higher education and curriculum development best practices, I also serve as a Practitioner Instructor at Wake Forest University, where I facilitate instruction of graduate counseling courses and engage in strategic coaching of new counselors.Beyond my professional endeavors, I am deeply committed to community engagement. As Board President and Member of She Votes, I support the organization\'s mission to increase voter engagement in local and national elections in nonpartisan ways. I am a lifelong learner, holding a Master of Arts in Counseling from Wake Forest University and continuously seeking education and training opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge. Highly proficient in Google Workspace, Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and various career management platforms, I am also fluent in speaking and conversational writing of Brazilian Portuguese.
