About Ana Buettner
As the Founder & Director of Inclusive Speech & Language Services, I lead a growing private practice dedicated to providing affirming, evidence-based, and culturally responsive care to clients across the lifespan in Western New York. My clinical expertise spans early intervention, Deaf education, and complex medical needs, with a strong emphasis on serving neurodivergent, multilingual, and DHH+ populations.My leadership is grounded in the belief that communication is a human right, and that private practices can and should model inclusive, client-centered, and equity-driven care. In addition to private practice leadership, I serve as an adjunct professor at Buffalo State University and a bilingual speech-language pathologist at St. Mary’s School for the Deaf. There, I evaluate and treat students from birth to 21, lead research initiatives, and mentor graduate students. I also serve on the CEASD Standard 8 Committee and contribute to shaping best practices in Deaf education.With advanced training in American Sign Language, Spanish, and Cued Speech, I bring a multimodal, multilingual lens to both teaching and clinical care. I’m proud to mentor aspiring clinicians through ASHA’s S.T.E.P. program and to advocate for more equitable, accessible systems in speech-language pathology.
