This summer I will be getting hands-on experience through a 12-week rotational internship with Driftwood Hospitality Management at the Tru by Hilton/Home2 Suites by Hilton Pompano Beach Pier. I will be rotating through multiple departments including front office operations, housekeeping, food & beverage, sales, event & banquet planning, engineering, and guest services to develop a overall understanding of how these departments work together to make sure things run smoothly. I will be building skills in guest relations, communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and day-to-day hotel operations in a fast paced environment.
