Hello, hope you are well!I recently graduated from NYU Magna Cum Laude with a double major in American Government/Politics and Spanish. I’m excited to engage deeply as a TFA Corps member and a community member in the Bronx as I piece together how my career might best unite my passions for educational equity, advocacy, public policy, and policy making.I’ve spent the past years as a student leader recognizing the growing need for awareness of mental health and accommodations for visible/invisible disabilities in education policy and public policy more broadly. As a daughter and granddaughter with indigenous roots in both Texas and the Pacific Islands (Guam), I look forward to delving deeper into how both public policy and the law can reflect today’s need to protect our land, children, diversity, and health, with special recognition of history in the process.
