ABOUT ANA JANEVA
Life scientist with a strong background in molecular biology and genomics, combining hands-on wet lab expertise with bioinformatics. My work bridges experimental and computational approaches, with a focus on generating robust, interpretable results from complex biological data.During my PhD, I contributed to an AI-driven framework for modeling nuclear reprogramming by providing experimental validation that revealed novel epigenetic barriers to cell fate transitions. This experience shaped my ability to translate computational hypotheses into biological insight and drive projects forward across disciplines.Since January 2026, I have been working as a Scientist at the Zentrum für Humangenetik Tübingen in Germline Diagnostics, where I interpret and evaluate genetic findings with a strong emphasis on accuracy and clinical relevance.Fluent in German and English, I bring extensive international collaboration experience and enjoy working at the interface of science, data and cross-functional coordination.
