ABOUT ANA EKKO GONZALEZ MARTIN
Hola! My name is Ekko Gonzalez Martin (they/them), my role is to assist as an UD+P student intern. I am a proud first-generation college student enrolled at CSULB. I will graduate this upcoming Spring 2026 with a B.F.A. in Interior Design and a Minor in ASL Linguistics and Deaf Cultures. I was prompted by my background to choose this educational path, in order to address the challenges that marginalized communities face through equitable spaces that shelter, empower, and inspire individuals through successfully programmed projects. Outside of academics I’ve had the opportunity to complete 900+ hours of community service, where I\'ve enjoyed expanding my social circles and making the most of my bilingual skills. These experiences have enriched my life, whether through forming new friendships or supporting my communities. Overall, revealing qualities in myself that I cherish, like resilience, empathy, and a genuine passion for change.
