    I serve as the technical leader for the optical development team. My responsibilities include R&D of high-speed optical line-cards, full integration of such a line card with performance optimization and quality assurance, performing design validation/testing to verify module function and system performance. • Design and development of new high speed advanced modulation digital coherent optical engines (subcarrier multiplexing, probabilistic constellation shaping, etc.). • Translation of system requirements to detailed line card architecture along with peer engineering groups. • Optical design verification test (ODVT) of Infinera CHM6-C and CHM6-L 100G-800G high speed optical line cards. • Interaction with the FW, SW, control and DSP teams in performance optimization and problem solving. • Validation and improvement of models and DSP algorithms via testing, debugging, and data analysis. • Lab automation and programming (Visual Basic, Matlab).
