ABOUT AMY VAUGHAN
I have spent 25 years working in the cultural sector and have a passion for organisational change, building resilience, and enabling innovation. My practical experience is rooted in venue management, particularly multi-artform spaces that combine artistic ambition with deep community engagement, across both subsidised and commercial models. I have held/hold a range of leadership and governance roles including Chair of the London Theatre Consortium, Chair of English Touring Theatre, and leadership positions at Cambridge Junction and Battersea Arts Centre. I also spent nine years with Arts Council England, leading on Touring, Project Grants Funding, and the Investment Principles during my tenure. I\'m a dedicated life long learner having had a family young and missing out on an under-graduate life, I dedicated my later career to expanding my skillset and gained post graduate qualifications in Organisational Psychology, Development & Change and a Masters in Business Administration. Today, through Fringe Consulting, I focus on supporting cultural organisations and consortiums to adapt and thrive. My focus is on transformation, strategic development, and building sustainable business models — from high-profile change programmes with national impact to tailored support for smaller, emerging companies. Outside of work, I live rurally, where my love of gardening and the outdoors keeps me grounded ad peaceful.
