ABOUT AMY PEPPER
I am a Dementia Specialist Nurse with over 20 years of experience dedicated to improving the lives of people living with dementia and those who care for them. My career has spanned clinical practice, leadership, education, and research — all underpinned by a deep commitment to person-centered approaches.I currently work in social care, providing expert clinical consultancy, leadership, and support across a portfolio of care homes. I have previously worked as an Admiral Nurse and was proud to establish and lead the first Admiral Nursing service within a local authority setting.My work is driven by a belief that compassionate, evidence-informed care can transform experiences for people with dementia and their families. I actively contribute to the field through research and publication, having authored and co-edited two books and published in several peer-reviewed journals. I have a particular interest in hope-based approaches for people with dementia and their families.I am passionate about empowering professionals across health and social care to deliver high-quality, relationship-centered dementia care that offers hope and dignity at every stage
