ABOUT AMY M.

I’m passionate about our wonderful & beautiful planet Earth. I’m in awe of the magnificent plants and more-than-humans that inhabit our planet. How amazing are hummingbirds? If you are reading this and haven’t been outside in a while please stop reading this and go feel the sun, breeze, plants, etc. My background isn’t traditional: I started as a professional dancer (forever a seeker of movement), then found my way into event production, environmental activism, and ultimately, the sustainability space. But if you didn’t know, artists are among us all and art backgrounds are needed everywhere. Please support your local art scene (and always hire artists). At Lush Cosmetics, I support both global and North American initiatives that reduce waste, build circular systems, and bring sustainability to life in retail. I’m always looking for ways to turn big environmental goals into practical, people-powered action. I like what I do, I like talking about what I do, and I’m curious to know how to do it better (more efficient, holistically, thoughtfully, etc). I enjoy meeting change makers, fellow collaborators, and our earth protectors. Outside of work, I’ve created large scale eco-arts events and have led grassroots environmental efforts. I love love collaboration and building momentum through a shared passion. But just like you I’m more than a few paragraphs so let’s connect.
