OVERVIEW:\\\\n\\\\nHold full accountability for government affairs and media relations. Develop and execute advocacy strategies for city, county and state legislation and policies related to taxation, energy, sustainability, building codes, and preparedness.\\\\n\\\\nWork collaboratively with elected and appointed officials, members, and other groups related to policies and legislation. Work jointly with Membership, Education, Marketing, and Civic Engagement.\\\\nWork collaboratively to develop effective strategic plans for advocacy initiatives. Build positive media relationships, prep members and staff for interviews, author op-eds, and pitch stories. Produce panel discussions on topical issues, develop written communications for social media, web, and email, and create engaging designs, PowerPoint presentations, and other pieces for marketing and communications objectives.\\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n \\\\n\\\\n \\\\n
