About Amy Leverton
Over the last few years, Denim Dudes has established itself as a key commentator on denim and youth culture, exploring the intersection of macro trends, market shifts and consumer behaviour. Our popular forecast lectures dive deep into the cultural psyche of today. From the Degrowth Economy and anti-capitalist movement to spirituality, girl dinner and the new generation of makers shaping tomorrow’s denim, we unpack tomorrow and love every minute of it.I started working in the denim industry in 2003; for four years as a denim and casual wear designer and the last 18 years in future forecasting and consultancy, leading the Denim and Youth teams at WGSN and Stylesight before establishing Denim Dudes in Los Angeles in 2016.Denim Dudes started as a book in 2015 celebrating global denim style and featuring some of the worlds most important denim designers and industry figures. Our small but expert team of consultants leverage our global community to facilitate storytelling, meaningful conversation and partnerships and help to shape design direction in order to grow business. We focus on future forecasting, design, and marketing, working with clients from Levi\'s and Wrangler to Tommy Hilfiger and Target.
