About Amy Jeu

With over 25 years of experience in higher education, geospatial technology, and labor advocacy, I specialize in integrating technical innovation with mission-driven service. As a Senior College Laboratory Technician at Hunter College and a long-time union leader with the Professional Staff Congress (PSC), I’ve built a career at the intersection of instructional technology, GIS and remote sensing, academic operations, and collective organizing.My strengths include managing complex instructional environments, coordinating Esri and spatial data systems, designing hybrid learning strategies, and leading technical production for events and communications. I\'ve supervised teams, trained faculty and students, and served as a bridge between administrative, academic, and union communities. My union work—ranging from grievance resolution to collective bargaining—reflects a deep commitment to equity, fairness, and structural change.I bring a multidisciplinary lens to all I do, whether building a spatial data platform, co-leading an award-winning chapter, or mentoring students and interns. My passion lies in supporting public education, empowering communities, and promoting justice—digitally and institutionally.
