Having worn many different hats over the years – candidate, agency recruiter, in-house recruiter, and client, I can offer a unique insight into the legal recruitment process.My career started as a Regulatory solicitor, working for two of Leeds’ Big Six law firms – Walker Morris and Eversheds. I later moved into legal recruitment for a multinational recruitment agency, specialising in recruitment into private practice. I subsequently returned to Eversheds (then Eversheds Sutherland) as an in-house legal recruiter, having input into recruitment strategies on a national and international level and working closely with the firm’s partners and HR team.Haggerty Jaques was formed with the benefit of all of this first-hand knowledge and experience. I deeply understand the various factors and unique complexities involved in finding the right job or the right person for the job and there is nothing more satisfying than seeing it all come together.
