My passion is exceptional contracting and exemplary governance and compliance. How? By enabling the implementation of policies, processes and tools that support their practice with minimal disruption and maximum understanding by the organization. How does one get to great contracts, governance and compliance? A key component is to analyze the risks, determine the acceptable risks, and communicate those decisions. In tandem, enable the team with the appropriate policies, processes and tools that coincide with and mitigate those risks. Don’t unnecessarily frustrate the process or disengage the team with the impossible requirement of bridging the gap between unnecessarily strict policies and inadequate tools and methods for achieving compliance. Be smart and nimble - build a safety net that’s suitably strong. Specialties include: compliance, governance, contract drafting and negotiation, policy and process roll-out and improvement, and, most importantly - relationship building, all on an international scope in the defense, biotech and telecommunication industries and include establishing and maintaining cross-functional relationships with account management, finance, supply chain, operations, product development, manufacturing, quality, and legal. My underlying motivation is to meaningfully connect with and be of service to people.
