About Amy Fitts
CLASS ACTIONS & COMPLEX COMMERCIAL LITIGATION I am a litigation attorney representing business clients in all aspects of complex commercial litigation, from initial case assessment through trial. While my practice focuses largely on antitrust, class actions, mass actions, and multidistrict litigation, I also have significant experience representing clients in various other high stakes matters. My cases usually involve complex legal and discovery issues that necessitate organized, forward looking, and efficient representation. THOROUGH, RESPONSIVE, AND PROACTIVE REPRESENTATION I work closely with each client to develop a case plan that minimizes the adverse impacts of litigation on their business and best positions their case for a favorable resolution, be that through settlement or trial. Although I most frequently represent defendants, I have also handled a number of high value business disputes from the plaintiff side, which enables me to better anticipate the evolution of a case and to provide a proactive, rather than reactive, defense. PRE-LITIGATION COUNSELING, DISPUTE RESOLUTION, AND SUBPOENA COMPLIANCE In addition to my litigation work, I frequently counsel business clients at the outset of a dispute regarding risk and early dispute resolution strategies. I also represent clients in responding to subpoenas issued in connection with civil litigation and government investigation matters and regularly represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
