As the Director of Compliance Services at NASBA, I lead the development and management of six applications that provide innovative solutions for our member Boards of Accountancy. With over 18 years with the organization, I have extensive experience and expertise in product management, customer success, standards, regulatory research and compliance.I collaborate with clients, including Boards of Accountancy, continuing education providers, and licensees, to understand their needs and deliver products and services that meet their expectations and requirements. I also work with cross-functional teams and IT resources to ensure quality, efficiency, and performance of the products, while implementing process improvements and technological integrations. Additionally, I conduct market research and data analysis to identify opportunities for product development and enhancement, as well as to monitor competitive trends and customer feedback. My mission is to drive growth and excellence for NASBA and its clients, by leveraging my MBA and strong business acumen to create product strategies that align with organizational goals and market demands.

The Compliance Services department provides a portfolio of products and services that include:• The Accountancy Licensee Database (ALD) and CPAVerify.org• The Accountancy Licensing Library (ALL)• The CPE Audit Service• The National Registry of CPE Sponsors• The Rules Engine ServiceAs the director, I oversee the financial progress of the department over the course of the fiscal year. I work with the product owners to ensure that we are providing excellent support and to discuss any enhancements or issues that need to be resolved with our ITO resources. I participate in several groups to facilitate overarching company objectives regarding Continuing Professional Education for accountants, new business lines and IT objectives - such as the use of AI in our products.
