ABOUT AMY E. MCCLURG

I am passionate about helping people, solving problems, and making progress toward goals. My team members know they can rely on me to do whatever is necessary to help them move forward. As a Professional Engineer and a Certified Mechanical Contractor, I bring an engineering and construction mindset to construction project management. I assist in building long-term relationships with customers and ensuring timely delivery of our services. In this capacity, I am working to develop effective and streamlined processes.Industry involvement and continual learning are important to me. I am on the steering committee of the Lean Construction Institute which seeks to improve the construction and design industries through lean approaches to eliminate waste and add value. In 2020, I was recognized by Engineered Systems magazine in its “20 to Watch: Women in HVAC” feature.When I am not at work, I love to travel. I served as the trip leader for a trip to Peru with the Orlando Ski & Travel Club. In the meantime, I am learning to be a better gardener. As a Nemours Construction Senior Project Manager, I understand the complexities involved in planning and executing facility renovations, expansions, and new construction. These projects require thoughtful coordination, clear communication, and a strong commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered outcomes. Drawing on years of experience in design, construction, and operations, I lead projects with a focus on aligning facility improvements with the hospital’s strategic goals. My role ensures that clinical, operational, and financial priorities are integrated throughout the project lifecycle — freeing clinical and administrative teams to focus on delivering exceptional care.
