President, Co-founder and Executive Board Member
Dec 2017 — Present · DC, US
As a rewarding full-time entrepreneurial venture through March 2021, the MOG Project was created to raise awareness, educate patients, caregivers and doctors, and advance research for the MOG-ab (myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein anti-body) rare auto-immune disease. We provide awareness, education, community outreach/support and research grants. The team has partnered with the Siegal Rare Neuroimmune Association (SRNA, formally the TMA), The Guthy Jackson Charitable Foundation, and various renown medical experts to create vetted research and information for our community, write real life stories, lead support groups across the globe, connect to the MOG community through social media, and host informational podcasts. The MOG Project continues to take on activities to address these objectives as well as tackle research funding. We are formally recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and are currently 100% volunteer
