Amy Edgar, APRN, CRNP, FNP-C is a dynamic healthcare leader and serial innovator, driving transformation at the intersection of clinical care, technology, and business strategy. As the founder of the Children’s Integrated Center for Success (CICS) in 2014, she pioneered a groundbreaking, systems-based model for pediatric behavioral health—uniting primary care with services spanning genetics, therapy, education, and family support.Motivated by personal experience and deep clinical insight, Amy scaled CICS from a single clinic into a multidisciplinary care ecosystem. In 2017, she launched the Remedy Foundation and CICS Maker Lab to address the employment gap for neurodivergent youth—aligning care with career readiness and long-term outcomes.By 2020, Amy had led the strategic shift of CICS into a virtual care company across five states—positioning it for national expansion. Post-COVID, she rebranded the organization as Blackbird Health, securing pre-seed and seed funding, assembling top-tier healthcare advisors, and aligning the company with a mission to help kids thrive at scale.As President and Chief Clinical Officer, Amy was instrumental in closing a Series A round backed by Define Ventures and Frist Cressy Ventures, tripling clinical capacity, and expanding operations into key growth markets including Pennsylvania and Virginia.
