About Amy Kemp
With a decade of experience in the energy industry, I am a regional External Affairs Area Manager at Florida Power & Light Company, the largest electric utility in the state and one of the largest in the nation. I provide the strategic groundwork for the successful implementation of company policies, initiatives and objectives by raising awareness, educating and providing advocacy on behalf on the company.To do so, I foster and lead the internal and external relationships and communication efforts for my assigned area, as well as contribute my time and energy in cross functional projects and community engagements. I have a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification and I use my analytical, communication, and leadership skills to deliver value and growth for the company and the communities we serve. I am passionate about opportunities that allow me to leverage my bilingual background, international living experience, and collaborative negotiation skills to transcend cultural barriers and make a positive impact. Outside of work, I enjoy devoting my time to non-profit organizations focusing on children and veterans.
