Amy Chang is a strategy and financial executive with 25+ years of publicly-traded and privately-held experience leading strategic initiatives focused on growth, building scalable operating models, M&A and integration planning. Amy brings corporate governance experience as a strategy and financial expert, investor relations executive, previous auditor/CPA, and NACD Directorship Certified™ board member. She has served as a board member and advisory board member of 15+ privately-held companies.As a recognized expert in the healthcare services and talent management solutions industries, Amy has served as a conference speaker and facilitator for the National Association of Travel Healthcare Organizations (NATHO) and Staffing Industry Analysts (SIA). She was also the recipient of NATHO’s 2024 Legacy award. Since 2017, she has served as a strategy consultant to multiple privately-held and private equity-backed companies in healthcare services and human capital management. From 20••••16, Amy was VP of Strategy & Investor Relations for AMN Healthcare (NYSE: AMN), the nation’s largest healthcare staffing and workforce solutions company, during which time its market cap grew from $220 million to over $1.3 billion. From 20••••09 at AMN, she led the strategic planning, operations analysis and market research functions, and served in interim operational leadership roles. From 2018 to 2020, she also served as Healthcare Analyst for SIA and published numerous benchmarking studies for the industry.Amy began her career as a public accountant/auditor/CPA with KPMG after receiving her BS in Business Administration from UC Berkeley. After earning her MBA from UC Berkeley, she was a strategy consulting manager at Mitchell Madison Group, where she worked with Fortune 500 clients. Amy is heavily involved in the San Diego entrepreneurial ecosystem and has made investments in 50+ privately-held companies. She has also served as a board member and advisory board member of 15+ privately-held companies. She is a board member of NuFund Venture Group (formerly Tech Coast Angels San Diego), and member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD). As a board member of the YMCA Association of San Diego County since 2018, Amy is Chair of the Legal and Risk Management Committee, and Member of the Audit Committee, Investment Committee, and Strategy and Brand Committee, as well as previous Chair of the Board of Governors.
