Established in 2003 in response to an increasing demand for anaesthetists, Athona has grown considerably since it was launched by Stewart and Tina London. It wasn’t long before we were servicing all niche professions within the medical market and by 2007 our AHP/HSS, psychiatry and education divisions were formed. In 2013 we saw the launch of our nursing team, meaning we now provide high-calibre staff to all of the healthcare and education markets. As demand has grown, so has our reputation within the the NHS and private healthcare sectors. Today, we’re proudly on all major NHS frameworks and support many of the biggest private healthcare organisations. But despite this continued growth, we’ve remained a close-knit team of experts passionate about the work we do, and aware of the important role we play for our clients and candidates. Our teams are experienced in placing temporary, permanent and contract staff into positions across the UK. Ensuring we’re prepared to help our clients fulfil their staffing needs and our candidates to find a job matching all of their specific requirements.
